Things to think about…

I read a friend’s blog the other day. It has encouraged to start writing and blogging my thoughts out loud where they can be criticized by others. One thing about blogging that I hate is how my thoughts can seem so very… immature and so flashy in a way that should not be so. Reading my friend’s writing made me see her heart behind so many things, and though she is miles and miles away, I got to know her so much more. Hopefully this is a place where I can write freely without worry as to where my life is taken and seen as negatively when I meet with people face-to-face. I want my thoughts to be taken under a microscope and criticized (maybe not all the time!) so I can be guided. Of course, it is very possible to be guided wrongly, and I would like to be ultimately guided by the Bible and His heart, but He uses people along the way too. :)

The one stream of light is my life. The scattered colours are the different parts of my life, separated and individually made beautiful by God. Isn’t He just amazing?

After a long day, or even after a few hours, my make-up refuses to stay where it’s supposed to be.

And, as you can see, I also have a hard time with make-up.

Women are like the police. They can have all the evidence in the world, but they still want the confession. - Chris Rock

Women are a lot like umpires. They make quick decisions, never reverse them, and they don’t think you’re safe when you’re out. - Pete Rose

So, the Toronto Star has a section for puzzles and such. One section under “Puzzles” has a quote section. It makes me laugh.
